Born in Santiago, Cuba and having migrated to the United States in 2003, Mayloren Mendez's educational journey spans from graduating as a physical therapy assistant in 2008 to earning a Master's in Occupational Therapy in 2013 and a Master’s in Cognitive Therapy, with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, in 2021. Her diverse academic background, encompassing physical, occupational, and cognitive therapy, equips her with a unique, multidisciplinary perspective and a deep understanding of child development. Mayloren's practice, founded on this rich tapestry of knowledge, focuses on enhancing the lives of children, enabling them to achieve functional independence and better integration into their social communities.

Elena, our dedicated Office Manager, who is central to creating a nurturing environment for our families and their children. With extensive experience, Elena excels in making the onboarding process seamless for new clients, providing them with comfort and support. Fluent in English and Spanish, she connects with a diverse range of families, ensuring personalized care and attention. Her love for working with children is evident in her daily interactions, and she is committed to making our clinic a thriving place for young clients. Beyond her professional role, Elena enjoys spending time with her beautiful daughter, bringing her positive energy and compassionate nature to every aspect of her life.  Pediatric and Adult Speech Language Pathologist  

Gabriela, an ASHA-certified Speech and Language Pathologist, is passionate about helping children develop communication skills. She holds a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Psychology from FIU and completed her Master's at Albizu University. Gabriela has extensive experience working with both children and adults, specializing in a variety of speech and language disorders. She is trained in DIR Floortime and Gestalt Language Processing and furthered her expertise through the LEND program at the University of Miami. Her dedication to her patients is evident in her compassionate and personalized approach. Gabriela is committed to making a positive impact in every client’s life.
